LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

In search of a special person that could make an immeasurable difference to my and my family’s life.

Hi,
My name is Maryam Saki. I love to garden, travel, cook, and spend time with family. I am 49 years old and have been on dialysis for the past six years. I have always eaten healthy and lived an active lifestyle so kidney failure was a shock to me. In 2016, I went into the hospital for a routine surgery and due to my doctor’s negligence, I left with kidney failure. It has greatly decreased my ability to enjoy life and spend time with my grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

For the past 6 years, I have had to go for dialysis three times per week and so many doctors appointments. It makes it difficult to travel, swim, and do many other things I used to be able to do. The dialysis leaves me feeling incredibly weak every time I go.

A kidney donor would be an answer to my and my family’s prayers. I just want to spend more time with them and to be able to travel and do all the activities I could do before this unfortunate event.

I am on the transplant list but the list is very long. I don’t want to miss out on the graduations, weddings, and the other special events that my family has in their future. Please consider becoming a living donor or sharing this message with others to help me find a match. The process is completely confidential and would mean the world to me and my family.
