David Kerschner Needs A LIVING Kidney DONOR

Giving the Gift of Life is the Most Precious thing you can do! Help us find the Gift of Life for David

David is my older brother. There is no greater bond than those between siblings. In spite of our “brotherly” differences through the years, I have always looked up to him as a mentor and role model, and often sought his advice and wisdom. He is smart, kind & and has a heart of gold. He challenged me throughout my life and helped me become the person I am. David has also been a very special uncle to my daughters. As children they adored their uncle David and still do! We often traveled together, enjoyed scuba diving, dining out and just plain old having a good time!

I have spent more time with David while staying at his home recently, while visiting with our elderly Mom. The biggest thing that I notice is his fatigue. He tends to crash out later in the day and runs out of steam. This seems more than just from age, and I know it is affecting his life and preventing him from enjoying all he loves to do.

A kidney transplant for Davie means LIFE. David and I realize how precious life really is, having lost our eldest brother a little over a year ago. When you lose someone close to you, and way too soon, you understand how fragile life is. David has dedicated his life to helping others as a Chiropractor and he now needs someone to “pay it forward” to him, to help him overcome his condition. A kidney transplant would give him the gift of a more normal and healthy life.

I would give David a kidney without question. Unfortunately, I am not able to as I have
a heart condition that disqualifies me as a donor. I know there is someone out there who has the generosity to donate a kidney and give the gift of life to David. You do not have to be an exact match. You do not have to know him. Giving the gift of life and health is truly the greatest gift you can give, or as we say a Mitzvah. Please share with your family, friends and anyone you know. Perhaps you, or someone you know, can be a living donor. Spread the word and we can find David a kidney, and restore his health and life!
