I am a dedicated father, Navy veteran, college professor, and information technology professional who is suffering from APKD, and a result has kidney failure. I am looking for a transplant to continue to pay it forward and take care of my family and be productive. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Currently not on dialysis but have been diagnosed with kidney failure since November 2023. My daily routine includes taking medications, following medical advise and pursuing kidney donation. As a result, being that I am an aircraft pilot, I am unable to fly. I am more tired that usual and exhaust quicker.
A transplant would be a rejuvenation. A new lease on life. A transplant will allow me to see my daughter get married, walk her down the aisle, eventually see grand children, be able to continue to teach college which is a passion of mine.
I encourage you (all) to consider kidney donation as this is the gift of life. Albeit it is a sacrifice this will pay it forward and will aid someone like me live. Your thoughts and considerations are invaluable and would mean the work to me.
