LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

I am a 71 year old male currently on dialysis (since August 2017). I had to make a decision to have dialysis or the alternative. I chose dialysis so I have time to explore other options. One was to go on a transplant list, which I am currently on. It is a 4-6 year waiting list. A way to move up the list is to have a kidney donated on my behalf. Even though it probably would not be a match, the kidney would go to someone else in need and then I would move up on the list.
I am still active as much as I can be on a limited basis. I have good days, some very good, and some not so good. I am on dialysis 3 days a week. I continue to do dialysis for 2 reasons: The number two reason that I continue dialysis is because I do love life and enjoy most people. The number one reason that I continue dialysis is my family, which is the ultimate everything. I have a wife of 48 years who is with me through thick and thin, 2 daughters who just take care of me, 3 grandkids who I sure live for. I have a cat, Bubba Louis who is the son we never have and who rules the house. Life is tough but good. If interested to see if you could be a donor on my behalf, please go to <https://mmc.donorscreen.org/register/donate-kidney>

Hello! I am Howie’s better half. A donated kidney does not have to match Howie’s kidney. If it comes from a live donor, and moves Howie up the list. After Howie being on dialysis for over 2 years, I can see it wearing on him both physically and mentally. He works very hard at staying positive, but it is difficult. We have been told that anyone who wants to donate a kidney, will have the most thorough examination they have ever had. If interested to see if you could be a donor on Howie’s behalf, please go to <https://mmc.donorscreen.org/register/donate-kidney>

Hi! Youngest daughter here. If you have ever met my dad, you know he is one of the funniest, caring and most genuine people you will ever meet. He would give his last dollar to someone in need. He is the glue that binds our family together. If interested to see if you could be a donor on my dad’s behalf, please go to <https://mmc.donorscreen.org/register/donate-kidney>
