Kidney failure I have, but a failure I’m not. I was diagnosed with a kidney disease 1990 and have been under the watchful eye of a wonderful kidney doctor. However, in 2017 my life as I knew it had to make a detour, to a dialysis clinic.
This detour has me going to dialysis 2 days a week for 3 hours each day it zaps my energy & keeps me from spontaneously living my life. Although I am currently on the transplant waiting list for a deceased donor that wait could be 3-5 years. However you can help derail my detour sooner than 3-5 years, by being my living donor, which is the best option.
Many people don’t know you only need one kidney to live a healthy life. The cost of the evaluation testing, surgery, hospital stay, and postoperative care will be covered 100 percent through my insurance. Failure is not an option for me and I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider donating your kidney or sharing this post to get the word out for me. That would mean the world to me and my family. Thank you for reading, sharing and caring
