"My Daughter Samantha needs your help"
Samantha is my beautiful daughter. While her health and kidney function has always been a challenge, she manages to amaze me every single day. A few years ago, Sam and I set out to hike Mount Washington. We started practice hiking in the spring and by midsummer we made it to Summit on the first try.
Sam attended Quinnipiac University and got a degree in Radiological Sciences. She works in the medical field as an x-ray technician and works full time.
Like many people Sam has faced challenges in her life. She has also accomplished so much. To say I am proud of her is an understatement. She is my Hero. Sam has never let anything get in her way. Along with hiking, Sam enjoys snow skiing, paddle boarding, swimming, dogs, and especially her job. Sam’s life, however, has now been somewhat interrupted as she now faces a new challenge. Sam is faced with kidney failure. While confronting this difficulty head-on, Sam continues to work full-time and continue her education. Amazing!
I am reaching out and asking for help to find a living donor for Sam. Did you know that it is possible to live a healthy full life with just one kidney? It’s true. If you, or someone you know may be interested in helping Sam please simply forward this message or call the living organ donation line at Yale New Haven Health 866-925-3897. You can also visit ynhh.organdonation.
As awesome as my daughter is, she now needs your help. What Sam needs is simply for you to share her story and through sharing her story we hope to find her a living kidney donor.
Thank you for reading and sharing.
