I have always been passionate about sports and interacting with people. Each person is a book full of pictures about life and a neverending story. I was a history major in colloge and loved learning about people from different cultures and backgrounds. I enjoy helping people and feel like it is my one true calling which is to provide encouragement to those who are struggling with the trials of life!
I really don't want to go on dialysis. I have received literature about it and I truly would rather face having cancer versus dialysis! It is restrictive for me in terms of my active lifestyle. I was diagnosed with diabetes at age 39 and was placed on medications. I felt that I had a good health team that helped me to manage this disease over the years but here I am at age 65 in stage 4 and preparing for dialysis. I am a Christian and I believe that God has a plan for me and that a kidney transplant will help me to continue this journey!
I am looking for a living donor who can help me to continue my life journey. My wife, Angela Jeffries and my stepdaughter Kimberly Caldwell have posted on Facebook my need for a kidney donor and the nurse contact .
