LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

Living Kidney Donor Needed

My name is Jason Entrekin, and I am hoping to find a kidney donor. I am 45 years old, and I am diabetic. In 2014 I had complications due to my diabetes and lost the vision in my left eye. My kidneys also suffered at that time and have continued to deteriorate since 2017.

As my kidneys declined, I had to start dialysis in 2024 and go 3 times per week. I have become increasingly tired which limits my activities as I sleep a lot more. The uncertainty of if or when I might receive a kidney wear on me, but I try to start each day with a good attitude and be grateful for all the positive things in my life. Being on dialysis can be a lot and some weeks are more exhausting than others. I have always lived on my own with my dog but due to medical problems in the last year, I have had to move in with family and my dog stays at a friend's house.

Even though I am on the kidney transplant list I am seeking a living donor as the waiting list is very long. You can help me fight this fight in several ways. Spread the word to your family and friends who might know someone who is willing to sever as a donor. you can start by simply sharing this message and link on social media. Prayers and positive support are also much appreciated.

I don't make this request without a lot of thought and prayers. I know this is a big ask. I prayerfully want to extend my time on earth and enjoy what the future holds. A living donor transplant would mean so much to me because I would be able to be independent again and live with my dog, get back to fishing and spending time with family and friends.
