LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

Living Kidney Donor Needed

Hello,

My name is Elizabeth, and I am hoping to find a kidney donor. Not long ago, I went through a heart transplant that gave me a second chance at life. I am deeply grateful for that gift and for the doctors and nurses who made it possible. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected complication, my kidneys have failed, and I now need a kidney transplant to survive.

For years, I have battled heart disease and its effects. There have been many hospital stays, long nights, and difficult treatments. It has not been easy, but I have held onto hope. The treatments often leave me tired, and it can be hard to do the things I enjoy, like gardening or spending time outdoors with my family. Even so, I stay focused on the blessings in my life and look forward to better days ahead. I dream of the day when I can wake up feeling strong again, take a walk with my grandchildren, cook dinner for my family, and enjoy life without the constant worry about my health.

I am currently on the national waiting list for a kidney transplant, but that wait can take years. Finding a living donor could help me receive a kidney much sooner and allow me to live a longer, healthier life. A living donor transplant would mean more time with my children and grandchildren, more laughter, and more of the moments that make life meaningful. It would also allow me to give back to others by promoting organ donation and helping raise awareness about how one person’s kindness can save another person’s life.

If you would consider getting tested to see if you might be a match, I would be forever grateful. Even if you are not a match, sharing my story can make a real difference by helping me reach someone who might be. Your generosity could give me the chance to live fully again and to spend more time with the people I love most.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.

With sincere gratitude,

Elizabeth Avery
