LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

Hello my name is Maria Sanchez-De Vazquez. I like to go out with my family on the weekend.Im unable sometimes because Im schedule for dialysis on Saturdays. I like to go swimming.I love to enjoy my summer days they give a boost of energy. I was diagnosed with policistic kidney disease 10 years ago. Unfortunately it’s genetic my dad passed away from that.My daughter was diagnosed with it and so as my sister.

I have been on dialysis for 4 years. The process of my dialysis has been hard. Because it changes your life completely. Sometimes you have the energy to enjoy things that you just to do. I stop going to places with my family. I also have a disabled daughter that is really attached to me and it hurts me feeling that one day I won’t be longer with her. And that some days I just get out from dialysis to weak and I can’t do the activities that she wasn’t to do. And it breaks my heart seeing her see me sick. Also you have to give up on food you can’t eat certain foods. I have to also watch my liquids intake.

A transplant to me means a second chance of life. I would live each day like if it’s my last day because sometimes we have the opportunity to do a lot of things but then life can switch up. And have limited days to do what you used to and make a new lifestyle for you and your family. I would for ever be grateful for all the donors out there that decide to give hope to others.
