Kerrie -Ann Beke

In need of a Kidney

My name is Kerrie-Ann, and I am hoping to find a kidney donor.

Chronic kidney disease is a problem that I have been dealing with for 9 years. Unfortunately, over time my kidney disease has continued to progress to the extent that I will need a kidney transplant. The effects and treatments required to combat it have been a constant stress on my mind, body, and soul.

Since 2020, I’ve been doing dialysis, frequent doctor visits and experiencing a decline in my health. Dialysis often leaves me feeling tired and makes it difficult to do the things I enjoy, like spending time with family and friends, going to class, figure skating and enjoying what life has to offer.

I look forward to the day that I can get my normal life back. It would be a blessing to be able to be more active and start competing in figure skating, and enjoy life without the constant concerns for my health.

I am on the waiting list for a kidney, however that can often take years to get a match. I am hoping to find a living donor because it will improve my quality of life and allow me to start living my life again. A living donor transplant would mean so much to me because I will be able to take care of my self again. I would be grateful if you could help me find a match by getting tested or sharing this information with your own network of friends, family and community.

I sincerely thank you,

Kerrie- Ann Beke
