I've known Greg over 45 years. We've watched each other go through life, have children and develop our individual talents. Greg is a retired school teacher and his love for music was evident when we first met and his never diminished in the years I have known him. He brings joy to his family and friends through his wit, understated demeanor and his tenacious ability to enjoy life in its fullest.

When something like this manifests itself in one's life, I can only imagine the initial shock and disbelief that overcomes the individuals that are effected. But Greg is a fighter! As I'm beginning to understand its not easy to arrange for a transplant and Greg has recognized that this has to be an all-out effort to overcome for himself as well as his family and friends. His life is on hold and all that he relishes and enjoys will be that less fulfilling until a donor is found.

All of Greg's friends and family have a story to share about their life with Greg. He has touched all of us in many ways. If this is a starting point then I encourage all who know and love to simply just say that!
