The world needs Gregg to continue his journey touching people with music & life

Greg reached out to me several years ago to coach him along his journey with guitar playing and songwriting. In my over 35 years as a professional touring, session and teaching musician I have come to recognize an individual with talent, burning passion, and genuine love of what life brings to music and what music brings to life. That is Greg!

Greg and I, along with his son, performed several shows over the years. I was only aware that his energy level/medical issues caused him to limit the many late night shows. His passion for performing spilled over into his "entourage" of family, friends and followers who showed up at every show. Music is a journey that never ends and in itself is an entity that sustains and enhances our lives. As with every professional musician, Greg is still in the early stages of his journey with 1 album under his belt. The world needs Greg to continue his journey and share the love of life for many years to come.

Many of my friends know Greg through his music. Their overwhelming support of his talent will translate to their support in this cause. Social media and word of mouth will be my bullhorns of choice.

Share the Importance of Living Donation

There are currently 120,000 people waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant in the U.S. Of these, 100,000 await kidney transplants.

The median wait time for a kidney transplant is 3-5 years and can vary depending on health, compatibility, and where you live.

In 2014, 17,107 kidney transplants took place in the U.S. Of these, 11,570 came from deceased donors and 5,537 came from living donors.

Every 14 minutes someone is added to the kidney transplant waitlist.

A kidney from a living donor lasts longer and begins functioning more quickly than a kidney from a deceased donor.

In 1995, kidney donation became minimally invasive with a procedure called laparoscopic nephrectomy, which only requires four small incisions. Hospital stay is typically only 3 days after this operation.

Not blood type compatible with your recipient to be a living donor? Kidney Paired Donation (the “kidney swap” program) enables incompatible candidates with a living donor to receive a kidney from a compatible donor.

Last year, over 700 living donor kidney transplants occurred using Kidney Paired Donation.
