Kenneth Fracasso Needs A LIVING Liver DONOR

I can't imagine my life without him!

My name is Kara and I am Ken's younger sister. My brother has the same work ethic as our dad. Decide what you want to do and just do it, and keep doing it until you reach your goal. He is the family story teller and the one who always remembers distant relatives names in family photos. He remembers all sorts of stories from our childhood that I have forgotten, or never remembered!

He was diagnosed 15 years ago, but he has been sick longer than that. Not feeling good, yet not knowing the reason why was difficult on our entire family. He just kept going, many times saying he was fine, but you could tell he wasn't. It was hard on all of us, but especially hard for his wife and children.

A partial live liver transplant would be a new lease on life for my brother! No more blood infections would be an amazing gift. They are extremely scary and I feel so helpless when they occur. To be able to live without pain and fear of infection would be a Godsend to all of us. I pray that he will be here to someday, walk his daughter down the isle.

I know that asking someone to donate a part of their liver is huge. It is a lot to ask of a stranger. I am too old to help him as is my husband. But this is the only thing that will help him. It is impossible to put a life into a short blurb for others to read. My brother is generous, he helps others, he is fun and loving and loves to travel. I can't imagine my life without him.
