Please help my husband

My name is Laraine Pavarini. I have been married to the love of my life for almost 25 years. He is the most loving and giving person I have ever known. As a teacher in the Bronx for 25 years, he was adored by his students. He is Papa to our three grandchildren who think he is the greatest. They are too young to help Gregg but they are fully aware of what a kidney would mean to him. They have said that when they are older, they plan to help someone who needs a transplant to honor him. I have had the donor heart on my driver’s license for over 30 years but I have been told that I am too old and a diabetic and I can’t help the one person that means the most to me.

Gregg no longer has the stamina and strength he used to have. He is only 63 but he can no longer take long walks as we used to do. He can only complete simple exercises for short periods of time. It breaks my heart to see him struggle to do things that were so effortless before kidney disease.

Gregg and I are very spiritual people. We believe in sharing, caring and giving especially now during this pandemic.
We hope and pray that we can find someone who can help Gregg as he has always helped others.
