LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

My name is Michael, and I have kidney failure.and l lived with this condition for about 4 years. I was an Architect and designer , and have worked for the last 20 years, I love designing spaces and interacting with a varied lot of people. About 4 years ago my life changed when my kidneys failed, leaving me go on dialysis.
I look forward to the chance to find a liver kidney donor, so that I may regain my
Health and continue to spend time with my beautiful and loving family.

I am telling my story today to ask you to help me look for a living donor.

I have been diagnosed with kidney failure for the past 4 year. Dialysis is a straining and tiring process that I must go through for 12 hours per week. This process leaves me tired and drained, and bot available for my friends and family.

A transplant would mean a fresh and invigorating fresh start. And the strength to be an active member to my family life.

I call to action, anyone that could help me on this new lease on life. Not only will you have my greasiest than is and life long gratitude, but the love, thanks and gratitude of my friends ,family and loved ones.

There are currently 120,000 people waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant in the U.S. Of these, 100,000 await kidney transplants.

The median wait time for a kidney transplant is 3-5 years and can vary depending on health, compatibility, and where you live.

In 2014, 17,107 kidney transplants took place in the U.S. Of these, 11,570 came from deceased donors and 5,537 came from living donors.

Every 14 minutes someone is added to the kidney transplant waitlist.

A kidney from a living donor lasts longer and begins functioning more quickly than a kidney from a deceased donor.

In 1995, kidney donation became minimally invasive with a procedure called laparoscopic nephrectomy, which only requires four small incisions. Hospital stay is typically only 3 days after this operation.

Not blood type compatible with your recipient to be a living donor? Kidney Paired Donation (the “kidney swap” program) enables incompatible candidates with a living donor to receive a kidney from a compatible donor.

Last year, over 700 living donor kidney transplants occurred using Kidney Paired Donation.
