Hi my name is Judy. I’m in renal kidney failure been on dialysis now for three years. I have lived with polycystic disease my whole life.
I’m lucky because my children did not inherit this disease.
I have three children and three grandchildren. I took care of my younger twin sisters when they became sick with cancer. They both passed. With one of my sisters I read to her and sang songs we used to sing in choir. I also talked about what we did when we were kids growing up . I did this as she lay dying and took her last breath.
Having a transplant would mean I would be able to do things with my children and grandchildren. As of right now I don’t have the energy to do a lot, but, I do keep trying.
A transplant would be Godsend to me.
Please share my story. I am looking for a living donor because I have so much more living to do.
