LIVING Kidney DONOR NEEDED

Living Kindey Donor Needed

My name is Jeanine. I have been a full-time social worker for almost 10 years. I am in the field of helping people and now I am hoping to find a kidney donor. I have been struggling with kidney disease for 3 years.

My kidney disease has progressed from stage 3 to stage 5. My treatment options are to either start dialysis or receive a kidney transplant. Ultimately, dialysis will keep me alive but with restrictions. A kidney transplant will allow me to be able to continue to work fulltime without restrictions, spend more time with my family and get back to the things I live to do. I have a husband of two years and a niece and two nephews. I don't have the energy like I use to.

I am hoping to find a living donor in order to be able to live a longer healthier life. A living donor transplant would mean so much to me because I would be able to live a normal life again without the worry of when I would get sick, end up in the hospital, or have to start dialysis. I would be entirely grateful if you would help me find a match. You can do this by getting tested or sharing this information with our own network of friends and community members.

I am on the waiting list for a transplant, however that can take years for me to match with someone and get an offer from the deceased donor list. A living donor kidney transplant will also allow me to have freedom and live a normal life without being hooked up to a machine several days a week. I currently work full time as a social worker protecting children. After my transplant I would be able to continue to do this.
