Anthony Anderson

My work here is not done!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Anthony "Tony" Anderson. I am a 59 year old man who enjoys life. I love working out, taking long walks on a nature trail near my home, and watching action movies. I also have a wonderful son who is engaged to a charming young lady. They plan to marry next year.

The lesson I learned over the last 6 years, is that life in precious and it's for the living. So, I am ready to live it to the fullest!

I have been on peritoneal dialysis since 2017. The cause of my diagnosis was hypertension. As a result of this ordeal, I was forced to postpone my business, which, I had for over 10 years. In the beginning, I blamed myself for my situation, but, over time, I came to the realization that I still have the gift of life. If the heavenly father wanted me to come home, I would have been called to glory back in 2017. The fact is, I'm still here because I was meant to be here! My work here is not done!

I am eager to receive a kidney from a living donor, because, I have a business to revive, a new daughter in law to hug, and I want to dance at my son's wedding. I also recently discovered that I have a brother living on west coast. I would love to travel and spend time with my brother and his family.

Like I stated earlier, my work here is not done! If given a second chance with a kidney from a living donor, not one minute of my life would be wasted. If you donated to me, you would be giving a "good guy" a second chance. This experience has taught me one thing, that I am a fighter and I will never give up!
