Hello,
My name is Michael, and I am looking for a living kidney donor. Chronic kidney disease is a problem that I have been dealing with for 6 years. Unfortunately, over time my kidney disease has continued to progress to the extent that I will need a kidney transplant. The effects and treatments required to combat it have been a constant stress for me and my family.
Since May 2025, I had to start dialysis, and it has changed my way of life dramatically. I spend a lot of time at doctor appointments, and I have to do dialysis 7 days a week which cut my travels back to almost none. I used to walk every day and now I am too tired, I used to play a lot of golf and go to all of my grandkid's events, but it is getting harder to enjoy the things I used to.
I look forward to the day that I can get my normal life back. It would be a blessing to be able to travel more and spend time with my family. Currently, if I want to go somewhere I have to make sure to be home at a certain time so I can do my dialysis which is 8 hours every night. It also makes it very hard to travel because of the equipment I need to do the treatment.
I am on the waiting list for a kidney, but that could take many years to get a match. I am hoping to find a living donor as this would allow me to get back to the things I love to do. This would mean so much for my health and improve my quality of life. I would be grateful if you could help me find a match by getting tested or sharing this information with your own network of friends, family and community.
I sincerely thank you
Michael Rybski
