Hello. My name is Esroy Hanson. I worked as a chef for 30+ years. I owned a restaurant named H&H, an American/Jamaican cuisine restaurant, serving the Bridgeport/Stratford area. I’ve been diagnosed with Diabetes for many years now and Stage 4 Kidney Disease for the past & years.
Throughout the years of having this illness it has been a challenge. Having to go to many doctor’s appointments on a weekly basis. Diet restrictions and medications have taken a toll on my health. Most days I’ve been left feeling drained and fatigued. I miss traveling to go see family in Jamaica and in other countries. I miss having the energy that I once had.
A living donor would help me tremendously. It would mean I would be able to get my life back. I would gain back the energy that I once had. Enjoy time with my family and friends. I just want to feel better and normal again.
I would appreciate it so much if you would consider donating or sharing my story with others. You only need one kidney to live a healthy life. It would mean the world to me if I could get back in good health. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and sharing it with others. God bless you!
