LIVING Liver DONOR NEEDED

I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO RECIEVE A SPLICE OF LIFE!!!

Hello everyone, my name is Glenn, and I have liver failure due to chronic liver cancer. I love spending time with my wife, grandkids, family and friends.. I enjoy outdoor activities such as Biking, hiking, camping, and going to the beach. I also love attending Boston Red Sox and New York Giants games.
In 2015, I found out that I have Chronic Liver Cancer, and I was told that I will need a liver transplant in order to get a chance to live a longer life. Thankfully, I have qualified to receive a splice of a Living Donors liver.. It's just like someone donating a kidney. However, your liver will grow back just like a starfish!!!

After finding out that I have chronic liver cancer, I have been riding that rollercoaster ride named Cancer. Since being diagnosed, I have had three procedures to remove tumors.. I had two ablations and one resection.. I actually had one other tumor that had autoinfarcted which means, the tumor was absorbed into my body.. However, this time, I wasn't so lucky, and will be needing some outside help!!
Due to having Cancer, I've had to miss so many things I love to do. Having to attend constant check-ups with various doctors, and having procedures to remove tumors has caused upheaval in my life. In order to get on the list, I have to go thru a barrage of testing every three months. Just knowing that I have Cancer, causes me so much fear, anxiety, and sometimes depression. It is so scary that wont find a donor before the cancer spreads anywhere else. I have so much more to offer, and this is why getting a living donor is so important to me..

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT A LIVER HAS THE ABILITY TO REGENERATE???

In fact, healthy liver donors will regrow the donated portion of their liver in a few weeks. My doctor told me that finding a living liver donor is my best option, as opposed to having to wait for a deceased donor. Getting a living donor, would decrease wait time, and minimize chances of the cancer metastasizing throughout my body. I can start fully living my life without the dark cloud of cancer looming over my head, and actually be able to enjoy my life with family and friends. So please, if you can find it in your hearts to donate a portion of your liver to me or at least share this story to help me find a living donor, that would mean the world to me. Thank you for reading my story.”
