I've had Diabetes since I was 20 and been dealing with it ever since. At first honestly I didn't know how to take care of myself but as I grew older I did. Dealing with it now is very hard at times because it cuts into my social and personal life. My personal life is harder due to the fact that I have 4 children to help raise. I would really like to be alive to see all my children grow up and have families of their own.
I started doing dialysis treatments back in January 2014 and have been doing it ever since. I do the treatments 3 days a week. There are days where I feel fine afterwards and there also days where I feel very sick , weak and tired. I've done both the in center Hemo Dialysis and Paratonial Dialysis. As far as socially, it's been hard for me to be active because at times it really drains me of my strength and ability to do things. Personally it has been very hard for my family because both my parents are in their 70's and they have their own health issues to deal with. My 3 boys who lives with me are in their teens and cannot fully understand everything that I deal with on a daily basis. There are times when it may seem like they do but I don't think that they do. My oldest son seems like he have some idea but he goes right back to been childish. I would really love to see all of my kids grow older , graduate from college and having their own families.
I have 4 kids that need my help and I have 2 bad kidneys and a bad pancreas. It would really help my situation if you would help and donate a kidney or pancreas. I really want to see my kids grow up and see how they turn out and maybe even walk my daughter down the aisle when she gets married. Also I want to get married again and maybe have a bigger family. I also want to know how it feels to be old and have grandkids that I can spend time with for the rest of my life.
