Howard Siegel Needs A LIVING Kidney DONOR

Howie is my dad. There are so many things that I admire about him. His unconditional love and loyalty for his family and friends are at the top of the list as well as his kindness and compassion for all people. His strength and courage also hit the top of the list. All of that and he's funny too.

My dad does dialysis three days a week. Those are tough days for him but he does them without complaint. What makes me most proud are the days he doesn't have treatment, you can bet he is living it up. He's living his life and enjoying his good days. Sometimes he has to miss things because of dialysis but our family does the best we can to plan any functions on his off days.He has been humble and is not looking for people to feel bad for him.

Receiving a transplant would give him those three days back every week. Those are three days that he can feel good and enjoy life. Also, it would take away the constant dread of having to go to dialysis.

My sister and I have both looked into becoming a live donor and neither of us are eligible or we would do it ourselves. I encourage all to share this story. I love you dad. Thank you for everything.
